We're in this together...

This is a private space for the outraged NIN fans with the cancellation of the two concerts in Brazil (in São Paulo, on October 7th and Porto Alegre, October 9th), but mostly for the São Paulo concert, since we haven't received any explanation for the canceling.

Here we will put our hearts out to demonstrate how irritated, disappointed and angry we all are with the lack of professionalism and respect of the Production companies responsible for the cancellation.

Firstly and foremost, we were warned only three weeks before the concerts that they were cancelled. For the Porto Alegre concert we were told by the production company (Opinião) that the cancellation was due to the low demand for tickets, thus they were not able to afford a big concert with so many technical effects as a NIN concert. That doesn't necessarily takes their guilt away, since it's still only three weeks after the concert.

Even worse than the Porto Alegre organization, after their concert was cancelled a whole lot of fans that would attend that date started to desperately look for tickets for São Paulo. Many of these fans bought the tickets for the São Paulo date in hope to still be able to see NIN.

When these fans called the organization for the SP concert, they were told that the demand for tickets in São Paulo was huge, even more after the other date was cancelled, that without counting with the already sold tickets. Many fans from all over the country had already booked flights, hotels and spent hundreds in phone calls to São Paulo to do such bookings.

Then, on September 17th, we were told by the production company in São Paulo (Mondo Entertainment) that the date in São Paulo was also cancelled. Their official notes that appeared on newspapers and websites was that it was due to "technical issues". Later on, when pressured by angry fans calling, they started to say it was because of the low ticket demand, then it changed to "the band cancelled" and later on to "we don't know why, only our superiors".

We've been made clowns of and we still are. Whenever someone tries to contact Mondo for some reasonable explanation, they start making up stupid excuses.

The root of our disappointment isn't in the lack of excuses however; we are truly disappointed and crashed by the fact that we have been waiting since the dates were announced. Many people bought the tickets MONTHS away, many people bought even in the day that was cancelled, without knowing that hours from then there would be no concert.

As said before, we are lost. We have no explanation and we are raged by the lack of professionalism of such companies. When calling their office, they keep transferring us from one department to another and each one gives us a different excuse, but nothing is done about it.

More than four thousand fans are disappointed. We do not want out money back; we want to see NIN live. We, by all means, know that this is not the band's fault and we are almost as sure that they are probably as disappointed as we are. It wasn't only disrespect with the buying costumers of a service; it was also disrespect with the artists of Nine Inch Nails.

We want to see them. We are in this together.

Anne Becker, It's absolutely well written, perfect point! It isn't NIN's fault but The Productions Companies' ones, because it's quite nonsense their excuse of low tickets sales. I have nothing against Venezuela, but, it's nonsense to believe that their production companies have more competence than Brazil's ones. And once again, this is not for the money but for being disrespected by these amateur companies, for listening to lots of crap excuses!
Come on! how many people are possible in Via Funchal? 5 thousands? Come on!, I know a lot of people from OTHER STATES that had planned to come to São Paulo, so count only these people, of course there are more than 5 thousando interested in NIN Live!
MONDO and OPINIÃO, you suck! LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM! learn from Santiago, Buenos Aires and CARACAS!
